Corporate Habitat for Humanity Build
Since the year 2000, corporate employees have been trading their business attire for dirty jeans and t-shirts to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. The enthusiasm is still strong as this partnership enters its 12th year. Partnering with volunteers from the Sarah Cannon Research Institute and Ingram Industries, Inc., HCA employees have contributed to building foundations, painting interior and exterior walls, installing carpet, and decorating rooms with personal gifts. All told since 2000, HCA corporate employees have built 14 homes and the HCA Foundation has contributed $1.7M. Sharing the dream of providing life-changing opportunities through home ownership, HCA and the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity are natural partners to make a real difference in the lives of local families.
For 2012, corporate employees will be rolling up their sleeves and building house number 15. The build dates are between March 22 and April 20. HCA is excited to be a part of this hands on service experience in the community and looks forward to working with an amazing family.
